I have spent more than 20 years in virtually every aspect of multi-channel marketing, from digital strategy and social media to creative direction and brand management.  I have had the privilege of being a marketer for leading arts, entertainment, nonprofit, and consumer brands, including the Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, Walt Disney Company, and Avedis Zildjian Company.  A common thread throughout my career has been a focus on building life-long customer relationships for the brands I represent.  At Zildjian, I built a new marketing organization, envisoned and rolled out a major digital strategy, and led the conception and execution of a new brand vision.  At Disney, I worked in several divisions of the company, gaining invaluable experience with one of the most powerful brands in the world.  I have also driven the marketing vision of smaller companies, rolling up my sleeves and executing with a small creative team of marketers and product managers.  With all of these companies, I have had the opportunity to lead talented teams and see the rewards of a well executed strategy, both in terms of the bottom line and recognition from the industry in the form of national awards for creative excellence.

 I love the strategic and creative challenges I face as a marketer every day.   I am especially passionate about the brands I have had the honor to represent throughout my career.  I attribute much of my success as a marketer to an understanding of the revolution that's occurring in the new digital space and the shift from "share of voice" to "share of customer."  In the millennial world of marketing, successful brands are those that embrace a strategy of building one-to-one relationships with customers in a digitally enabled marketplace.  These are exciting and challenging times to be a marketer.  Ultimately, marketers who are the best listeners will have the most meaningful dialogues with customers and enjoy the most enduring brand relationships.
